This item is an add-on service to customize our gauges and kits. After adding your kit to the cart, start customizing!
You are in charge! Easily create your own personalized gauge design! Choose from a wide range of dial, graphic and backlit colors to create a truly one-off gauge kit for your ride! Our GaugeStudio customizer also allows you to select bezel finish, pointer style, lens style AND MORE!
Lead times are 2-3 weeks.
We will print your custom designed dials the week after your order is sent in.
The production team will build your custom gauges up the week following the Friday they are cut.
At checkout, in the cart you will be given a link to your project where you can review, download and share the design you have created.
Additional options include 140 MPH or 240Km/h speedometers, 8,000 RPM or 4,000 RPM (diesel) tachometers with fully customizable, multi-colored redline options. Our standard gas/diesel indicators are included and deadfronted (Invisible when off).
How does it work?
Choose all of your options in our GaugeStudio Customizer. Any options you select will over-ride the standard kit selections. For example, bezels, pointers, etc. will all be whatever you choose regardless of what the original kit was, its all up to you!! HINT: Choose color combinations with a high color contrast. (Dark dial, light graphics and vice-versa) If you are looking for a low-contrast look, you can turn the lights on all the time for a new look.
Not sure on the colors? No problem, we have color swatches available so you can see the actual colors and material just click here>>> Remember all monitors and phones are slightly different, the colors you see on the screen will be an approximation.
Backlit colors: We have 7 backlit colors available. They may differ slightly based on the graphic color. For example, a green backlight behind a blue graphic will be slightly bluer.
**** SELECT A BACKLIT COLOR THAT IS SIMILAR TO YOUR GRAPHIC COLOR! **** (You can't backlight red through green graphics for example).
Below is a chart showing the daytime GRAPHIC (not dial color) and suggested backlit colors. DO NOT CHOOSE THE SAME BACKLIT COLOR AS YOUR DIALS OTHERWISE YOU WILL NOT SEE THE GAUGES IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS WITH THE LIGHTS ON.
Disclaimer fine print, etc.....
All NVU products offer a 5- year warranty. In the event that your item requires warranty work, we may need the original dials from your custom project. We print extra sets of dials when we do custom project just in case. We include these in your shipment: PLEASE PUT THESE IN A SAFE PLACE. In the rare event that your item needs service, we will need those dials to accompany your item. If we do not have them, we will have to print another set at the customer's expense and replace them all with dials from the same batch.
