    Almost Perfect

Posted by Steve on 16th Jun 2025

You can tell there was a lot of thought put into these gauges, not to mention the literature that accompanies them, along with the Q&A on the website. If you take the time to read through everything, many questions are already answered before you ask. The gauges themselves can be arranged in any order you please, and there is little modification needed for them to fit in the OEM position. The gauges are amazingly accurate (after installing the senders that come with the kit), are easy to set up and wire, and look great with the LED lighting. I personally would recommend one Snap-Adapt 14 pin for the speedo side and hard wire the tach side. The only reason for this, is a space concern, although you do have the option of hard wiring everything entirely, thus eliminating the issue. So, why is the gauge set "almost perfect?" My own experience shows that the fuel gauge tends to move around a bit more than I would like (as much as a 1/4 tank each way). This makes it a bit difficult to know exactly how much fuel you have. The one thing I thought I would not like, I love! Since there was not enough room to incorporate all the gauges into the factory space, the voltage was incorporated into the tach as a digital read out. I LOVE this detail! There are also a ton of options that can be programmed into the gauges, depending on your personal preferences. Overall, if your gauges are starting to fail after all these years (like mine were), or you just want to step into the 21st century, this is the way to go! Beyond that, Vince and Bob are ready to assist in any way possible! Good luck with your project!
