POSITION: INSIDE SALES/CUSTOMER CARE

In house sales associate position consist of a wide range of duties from assisting current customers with placing orders, advice on part selection and installation to contacting OE clients. Commission based pay with hourly rate. Position also includes promotion generation, customer service and warranty/return processing. Position also covers social media, print and online marketing and advertising coordination with executive team and distribution network.

The Sales and marketing position has several main areas of responsibility and minor responsibilities that overlap with other areas for redundant coverage in the event of vacations, work flow and anything that may cause a surge in another position. This is how we maintain volume changes and ensure a seamless customer experience. If you are in the market for a standard office 9-5 job, this is not for you. The challenges in a fast growing business is wearing multiple “hats” at once, developing changing programs and creating sales in the white space available.
Priority responsibilities:
Customer first point of contact, recommendation of part numbers and accessories for installation.
Technical questions and troubleshooting
General (Level 1) warranty service/customer care
Sales call information/part recommendations
Order processing including:
Providing quotes/pricing on regular part numbers
Receiving orders and writing invoices on regular part numbers
Accepting and inputting payments via credit card, paypal
Accepting Purchase orders and proper acknowledgment
Creating barcodes and processing part numbers for each accepted order
Shipping as needed items for customer care
Cold calling and point of contact for new retail customers.
Marketing:
Developing marketing strategies for current and future projects
Maintaining social media/online networks (Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Pinterest, Twitter)
Maintain, update and distribute new product materials/assets for release
Maintain and update load sheets
Maintain and update Inventory uploads
Maintain and update web store content
Working within ad budget
Scheduling, working and procuring assets for show displays
Custom order writing, facilitation, and procurement
Secondary backup responsibilities:
Backing up production leader
Backing up Tech team
Backing up shipping/LTL
Anything else that may come up
Minimum requirements:

Pay: Base pay with commission past persons in this position have grossed $45-$65K, virtually unlimited pay potential for the right person.
Work hours are 9-5 M-F, with some flexibility/remote working options available
POSITION: CUSTOMER TECHNICAL SUPPORT
LOCATION: DETROIT, MI USA/NATIONWIDE (REMOTE POSSIBLE)
Tech Support position aids installers with troubleshootin, part selection and set up of product. Maintains and improving online troubleshooting database/web portal and shooting support videos. Possible remote position. Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and excellent customer skills an absolute must.

Providing installation and troubleshooting for all NVU products via phone and email. This will be about 75% of the time spent.
Updating and creating new instruction manuals
Updating and creating troubleshooting guides
Updating and creating new production build sheets
Updating and creating new product function/troubleshooting videos
Developing new customer service/troubleshooting/strategies.
Shipping customer care items
Selling add-on items that customer may need to complete installation.
Processing warranty inbound items
Processing and tracking completed warranty items
Using warranty data to develop new processes related to preventing further issues on repeat items
Secondary backup responsibilities:
Backing up production leader
Backing up shipping/LTL
Backing up sales calls
Trade show/seminar running with sales team

POSITION: DESIGNER
LOCATION: DETROIT, MI USA/NATIONWIDE (REMOTE POSSIBLE)
Designer position covers all 2D graphic generation of product, print and digital media. Maintaining and updating graphic library including core program materials and style guides. Designer must be familiar and capable of designing and color separation of backlit dials for screen printing with CAD patterns for CNC laser cutting. 3D and video experience a plus.
POSITION: CUSTOM INSTRUMENT TECH
LOCATION: DETROIT, MI USA
One of the most challenging and rewarding positions at NVU. You will see your creations go from concept to reality in some of the most highly customized vehicles on the planet. From start to finish the Custom Instrument tech will layout, design and build the finest custom instrument anywhere. Tech will work with sales,engineering and the design groups to develop each order to exacting customer specifications. Requirements:
2D CAD skills any program
Automotive electrical system knowledge
Custom fabrication or model making experience
instrument/gauge knowlegde
Wiring of vehicle harnesses by hand
Soldering skills
Troubleshooting skills
Impeccable quality control
Ability to deliver on time and schedule own tasks with other departments

Entry level position working with master screen printer as an assistant/apprentice. Previous experience with screenprinting/preparation preferred. Good organizational skills, cleanliness, punctual and excellent attention to detail are absolute musts.
