Its the feature you never knew you needed until now! We've found over the decades of installing aftermarket gauges can present visibility issues during the day. The gauges are sometimes recessed deep in the dash or in a shadow making them hard to see. NVU's AutoDimmer can be configured to turn on the lights with the ignition key on and automatically dim them when the lights are activated. This brings higher visibility and brighter colors to the day view and then dimes to your pre-selected level at night when the lights are on.
NVU"s AutoDimmer works on virtually any LED light setup and offers 2 outputs- one for gauges and one for the rest for your interior LEDs. The day ON works best on backlit gauges where the color is the dame day/night. Please see instructions for detailed wiring and operation for your setup.
Don't need all that fancy ON-OFF stuff? No problem, AutoDimmer is also capable of being used as a traditional dimmer, simply wire it in using the non-AutoDim schematic.
The modular design allows for mounting in tight spots, install the control knob through your panel, plug in and secure anywhere you like.
